- Sector
- Aviation
A private aviation terminal on the site of the former El-Nouzha Airport.
Use
For executives, owners and delegations flying privately: a quiet drive-up arrival, a reception hall, lounges, a restaurant and private dining, and direct access to the aircraft apron and hangars.
How we designed it
One sweeping roof flows across the terminal, shading the glass and the arrival court. Pale natural stone, pierced decorative screens and olive trees give the building an Alexandrian character, and the landscaped roof lets the terminal sit calmly beside the apron.
Why it endures
Natural stone, simple planning and a landscape that gives the airport a lasting civic presence.
